Pleasant sauna barrel in eco-friendly Thermowood.
Vidar is a modern sauna barrel, just the right size for a group of friends. The glass wall that adorns one end is perfect for enjoying a beautiful view. The rounded shape gives the sauna a cosy feeling and helps distribute the heat evenly. Here, you will enjoy many wonderful sauna sessions.
The wood is so-called Thermowood. Thermowood is an eco-friendlier, heat-treated alternative to pressure-treated wood. The heat-treated spruce wood is durable and dimensionally stable, meaning you don't need to re-tighten the metal bands of the barrel. The Thermowood doesn't need immediate treatment after assembly either. If you want to keep the barrel in its natural wood colour, it's sufficient to maintain the wood by oiling it about once a year. For those parts made of untreated spruce timber, oil is included to protect the wood externally. The oil provides a similar tone to the heat-treated wood, and we recommend treating the surfaces with it.
How do I do it?
Start by considering which accessories you want to make the sauna complete. For example, which stove suits you best. An electric stove allows you to heat the sauna quickly with a convenient on/off switch. It's also easy to adjust the temperature and keep it constant throughout the entire sauna session. With a wood-burning stove, it's a bit more work, but in return, you get to enjoy a crackling fire and an authentic sauna experience. Our home deliveries are made via a lorry with a tail lift, the driver unloads the goods at your location. Unloading is done with a pallet truck. Our vehicles get as close to your delivery address as possible.
