Grindavik is a modern sauna cabin that offers seating for a whole group of happy bathers. The cleverly placed corner benches in beautiful alder wood make it easy to squeeze in an extra friend. The sauna's pleasant rounded shapes create a cosy atmosphere for long relaxing sauna sessions. Even from the outside, the sauna is a real gem, adding a unique design element to any garden.
Sauna Grindavik comes in two versions, with a frame in untreated spruce or ThermoWood timber. You choose which one you prefer when ordering. The ThermoWood timber is heat-treated and durable, a more environmentally friendly alternative to pressure-treated wood. If you choose the heat-treated option, there is no immediate need to treat the wood. However, we recommend oiling it about once a year. If you plan to paint or treat the sauna exterior yourself, the model in untreated spruce is a good option.
How do I do it?
Start by considering whether you want an electric sauna or a wood-burning one. Do you want to set the time and temperature in advance? Then an electric heater is a good and practical option. Do you think that lighting the fire is part of the ritual? Then a wood-fired sauna heater is more suitable. Does it feel difficult to choose or do you have any other questions?
